Privacy Policy
This policy describes Juntar PDF as it currently operates. It is not a substitute for professional legal advice and may change as the product changes.
Last updated: September 8, 2026
Local document processing
Supported tools process PDF and document contents locally in your browser. Document bytes are not intentionally uploaded to Juntar PDF servers for processing.
When a local tool uses a password, certificate, or private-key material, that material remains on the device during normal operation. We do not claim that device memory is guaranteed to be erased; close the page and follow your device security practices when you are finished.
Normal website requests
Local processing does not mean that no network communication occurs. To deliver and secure the website, our hosting provider or CDN may process standard technical request information such as IP address, browser user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs, together with delivery and security logs. This policy does not claim that every item is always collected or stored in a particular format.
Local storage
The site uses browser local storage to remember the light or dark theme preference when the browser permits it. The key is juntarpdf-theme. The current application does not use cookies, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage, or service workers, and it does not use this storage to store document contents.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics or advertising service is integrated in the current repository. If advertising or non-essential measurement is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before or when that processing begins, and any required consent will be assessed separately.
Third parties and open source
The website relies on a hosting/CDN provider to deliver pages and static assets, but no specific provider is named here because it may depend on deployment. Open-source browser libraries do not, by themselves, mean that documents are uploaded. External links, when present, are governed by their respective sites’ policies. Public attributions are available on the Licenses page.
Children
The service is not described as being specifically directed to children. Parents and guardians should decide whether use is appropriate and should guide children on local file processing and safe device use.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect the application and its distributed files. Like any website and device, we cannot guarantee absolute security. The security of the device, browser, and downloaded files also remains the user’s responsibility.
Rights and contact
Where applicable law recognizes them, individuals may have rights such as confirmation and access, correction, deletion where legally available, information about processing, and withdrawal of consent or objection where applicable. A privacy contact channel has not yet been defined for this product and must be selected by the business owner before final launch.
- Founder decision pending: provide a real privacy contact channel and, if applicable, a person responsible for privacy requests.
Updates
This policy may be revised to reflect changes to the site, providers, or tools. Effective/last updated date: September 8, 2026.
Privacy contact: not yet defined — replace this marker with a real channel before launch.
